IBM SDK for Node.js Version 6

The last release of IBM® SDK for Node.js Version 6 before deprecation was equivalent to the community Node.js API version 6.13.0, except for AIX on Power Systems 64-bit which was 6.12.3.

Supported Environments

From version, ensure that the unzip program is present on UNIX-type operating systems before you install. The unzip program is used by the SDK installation process.

The following table shows the operating systems that are supported for each platform architecture for the IBM SDK for Node.js version 6.

1: Available only in Big Endian architecture format.

2: Available only in Little Endian architecture format for use on POWER 8 hardware systems.

4: Windows 10 is supported from version Earlier versions of the SDK should run on Windows 10 but Windows 7 compatibility mode is required for the installation program to run successfully (compatibility mode is not required for the SDK itself).
