Our team is so pumped to be a headline sponsor of the OpenStack Summit Tokyo where we will feature our worldwide portfolio of OpenStack based offerings as well as our amazing OpenStack contributors. There are so many ways to engage the IBM team while in Tokyo so I’ll break it down list style:

IBM Sessions and Keynote at OpenStack

On Wednesday, October 28 at the Summit, I’m looking forward to watching Angel Diaz, IBM VP Cloud Architecture and Technology, and Jesse Proudman, CTO of Blue Box, an IBM Company take the stage for their keynote presentation. I’m proud to say Jesse is a new Distinguished Engineer in IBM. OpenStack has gone global like no other open source initiative and in the keynote on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, we will celebrate that global reach and demonstrate how only IBM OpenStack based offerings can get you there.

Also, we are so proud of the team for securing sessions for 50 speakers at the upcoming summit covering topics ranging from Magnum in Open Containers, to Neutron, Cinder, Horizon, Swift Object Store, Heat and translation. IBM OpenStack developers cover the hottest topics in OpenStack today. In many of our sessions, we will be celebrating the great contributions to the Liberty release. For a full guide to all of IBM’s sessions at the summit, get your scheduling on with Nate Ziemann’s guide to IBM sessions. To learn more about all of IBM’s contributions to Liberty that will be featured at the Summit, please read Brad Topol’s blog “A Guide to the OpenStack Liberty Release”. And last but never least, learn more about featured Blue Box sessions at OpenStack in this overview by the Blue Box team.
