IBM is a proud Platinum Sponsor of Node.js Interactive!
In the last 6 months, IBM has made two key announcements that strengthened our commitment to the Node.js community. It began in June as IBM announced our founding and platinum sponsorship of the Node.js Foundation, and most recent, in September with the acquisition of StrongLoop. IBM invests in this open tech because today’s enterprises are faced with the need to innovate quickly in order to respond to rapid business changes, but they must be equally concerned with maintaining the stability and security of their existing systems. Therefore, Node.js has become a “must have” tool for the enterprise because it can speed up application development with APIs while simultaneously handle large amounts of data with agility.
Because IBM recognizes the power of Node.js and its impact on the API economy, we are proud to announce IBM as the Platinum Sponsor for the first Node.js Foundation led event, Node.js Interactive. It is on December 8-9, 2015 in the beautiful Portland Oregon! We are also very excited to sponsor the Evening Reception, at a unique pub called Punchbowl Social, with opening comments from Strongloop CEO, Juan Carlos Soto.
Additionally, we are excited to announce the numerous IBM and Strongloop sessions as well as two keynote sessions by Jason Gartner, VP WebSphere Foundation and PureApplication Development and James Snell, Open Technology Architect.
