Joe is a Senior Technical Staff Member within the IBM Power Systems software development organization. In his current role as Chief Architect, Power Systems Hybrid Multicloud Platform, he has worldwide technical responsibility to enable hybrid multicloud solutions on IBM Power Systems and works closely with the IBM Cloud and Red Hat teams to do so. From 2014-2018 he was the IBM PowerVC chief architect, IBM’s strategic enterprise virtualization and cloud management product for Power Systems. In addition to his development responsibilities, Joe also enjoys working directly with customers across the globe as they embark on their own journeys to the cloud. He is also an IBM Master Inventor and a technical contributor to several open source communities and enjoys hacking away on code in the late night hours.
