Developer Advocate


Adam Jollans is currently Program Director for product marketing in the worldwide IBM Z and LinuxONE team. In this role he is responsible for developing the marketing strategy for Linux on IBM’s Z and LinuxONE servers and their ecosystem. He has been involved with Linux and open source since 1998, including leading the cross-IBM Linux strategy. He joined IBM in 1984, and has worked in a range of technical, sales and marketing roles. Prior to joining IBM, he worked as an application software designer and programmer. He graduated from the University of Cambridge, England in 1980 with a degree in Computer Science, and is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, a Chartered Engineer, and a Chartered IT Professional.
