Claudio Bessa do Sacramento
Claudio Bessa do Sacramento is the Head of Ecosystem Development and Startups Unit for Latin America. He received a degree in business administration in 1985 and economics in 1986 from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC), a masters’ degree in marketing from the City University of London, England, in 1989, graduate degree in product management from FGV in 1997 and a MBA from FIA (USP). He started his career in the IT business in 1990 as a developer and product manager and in 1991 joined TOTVS a Startup Company as a co-founder which became after 22 years the 1st biggest ERP Company (total revenue) in Latin America and the 6th biggest in the world. He held several positions initially as a developer and also structuring departments such as business development, channel distribution, innovation lab, sales and alliances, marketing, market intelligence, and became one of the main senior executive (Vice President for International Market and Alliance) at the company in 2012 he join IBM as the Head of ISVs Developer Relation for LA. He was also a marketing professor at several Universities in Brazil from 1989 to 2004 and is the author of the book “Marketing Business to Business” by Makron Books and “Marketing B2B” by Saraiva.
