Senior Developer - Deep Learning/Machine Learning/AI Advocate, IBM CODAIT

Gabriela de Queiroz is a Developer Advocate at CODAIT where she enhances and advocates around the open source AI projects. She is the founder of R-Ladies (Global), a world-wide organization for promoting diversity in the R community with more than 100 chapters in 30+ countries. She runs the R-Ladies San Francisco chapter and serves on the ISC committee with the R Consortium. She is also leading the brand new R Community Diversity and Inclusion Working Group (RCDI-WG).
She likes to mentor and shares her knowledge through mentorship programs, tutorials and talks. She has worked in several startups and where she built teams, developed statistical models and employed a variety of techniques to derive insights and drive data-centric decisions. She holds 2 Master’s: one in Epidemiology and one in Statistics.
