Simon Sasaki is a Developer Advocate in Tokyo. He provides technical support to startups with a special focus on AI Technology (IBM Watson Developer Cloud). After Big earthquake in Japan, he worked as a chief architect in all phases from design to deploy of reconstruct support system of FUKUSHIMA and IWATE prefecture. He built a food traceability system with high security function and it led to win IBM Japan General Manager Award in 2013. He was involved in various engagements and one of his customer, SEIKO EPSON, made a presentation on SportTech by wearable device at Thought Leader Session at InterConnect 2016. He contributes to guide and assist developing App with IBM MobileFirst and IBM Bluemix as Technical Sales at that time. His recent favorite technologies are AI, VR/AR/MR especially using High-end HMD like HTC Vive and Drone. Also he is watching at the domain of sharing economy industry like Airbnb and Uber. He loves traveling, plays drums at off time and learning Karate which is the certified sport of 2020 TOKYO Olympic’s competition.
