Sahdev P. Zala is a software engineer in the IBM Digital Business Group (DBG) Open Technology division, RTP, NC. Sahdev has 14+ years of software development experience including 4+ years of open source development work. In his current role, he is focused on contributing to the Kubernetes upstream development. He is also a core reviewer in OpenStack upstream development TOSCA space. He is a founding Project Technical Lead (PTL) of OpenStack Heat Translator and TOSCA Parser projects. Before that, he has worked on developing IBM software for Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) and cross-product serviceability. Sahdev is passionate about writing and he is author of IBM red books, developerWorks articles, blog posts and other technical docs. He has been a speaker at various OpenStack summits, European Grid Infrastructure (EGI) conference and local meetup.
