Learn how to deploy a Spring Cloud Task from your local machine directly to IBM Cloud Foundry without using IBM Cloud DevOps.

  1. Connect to IBM Cloud using IBM Cloud CLI

Execute the following commands from the Eclipse project directory.

  2. Push your Spring Cloud Task as a Cloud Foundry application

  3. Verify the deployment

Note: the state will show as “started” with zero instances, because that how you configured it in the manifest.yml file so that you can start the task manually.
