Starting July 1st, there will be some updates to our form-based login workflow. Please take a look at the announcement below for details on the upcoming change:
As of July 01, 2015, IBM Connections Cloud’s form-based login will change its behavior slightly. The form itself is not changing, but upon successful login, the user will receive an HTTP response code 302 (redirect) instead of 200 (success), along with a location to redirect to. Normal end-user use of the form to login to the site will not be impacted. If you have any applications or custom logic that automate authentication into IBM Connections Cloud using the login form, please ensure your application can handle either a response code of 200 or 302 to indicate successful login.
Please note that IBM does not consider the post-processing of the login form, or the login form’s structure itself, to be a supported best practice. However, we realize that our clients may have implemented this behavior and and want to be pro-active in notifying you about changes.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this announcement, or supported alternative forms of authentication, please contact Brad Ralphs (email@example.com) or Connections Cloud Support (firstname.lastname@example.org) for assistance.
