IBM TS7600 is an enterprise storage system designed to deliver continuous operations, high availability and storage infrastructure reduction in a deduplication gateway.

TS7600 products combine the ease of implementation of a deduplication appliance with the flexibility of a software based storage infrastructure.

TS7650G offers the capability to mix and match storage infrastructures behind the gateway. The scaling of the deduplication storage is not limited by the stand alone appliance, when capacity or performance is required, simply add storage. When extreme high performance is required the TS7650G supports IBM FlashSystems to reduce the RTO/RPOs.

If extreme capacity is not required the TS7620 is available to support appropriate performance with deduplication up to 35TB.

TS7650 Frame Image

Gil Paz
Emmanuel started working with IBM on October 2008 when he started participating in the JPOS Retail project as device driver developer and had the opportunity to create a multi-platform tool to read and set the states of the drivers.

He was moved to the TS7700 filesystems team where he helped with the development and maintenance of the code that configures the TS7700 filesystems and installation packages. On March 1st 2010 he accepted the position of L3 support engineer for ProtecTIER and traveled to Israel for a five weeks training. After this period he started to provide L3 support and to resolve complex situations. He started to show advanced problem determination/solving skills as well as good attitude when dealing with difficult cases.

He also became technical advocate for 3 of the major protecTIER customers in the USA which gave him a lot of client exposure.

Over the time he has been recognized as a very successful and active patent submitter as well as speaker at local and international conferences.

He then was promoted to L3 support Team Leader in 2012 and has continued working to find better ways to provide high levels of quality and to maintain a high performance profile in the L3 team.

On March 2015 he joined the TS7650 development team where he continues to contribute and help to develop high quality storage products.
