Karl Weinmeister leads engineering for runtimes teams (Java, Node, Swift, and Python) in IBM's Application Runtimes and Frameworks Group. Previously, he led engineering in IBM's Mobile Innovation Lab, which created exceptional experiences on iOS, Android, wearables, and other mobile technologies, leveraging IBM’s portfolio of products, research resources, and partnerships. Karl is a McCombs MBA graduate and proud Longhorn, and has a computer science degree from the Duke University. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, jazz music, and the outdoors.
