Classification belongs to a category of supervised Machine learning.

Classification is when the feature to be predicted contains categories of values. Each of these categories is considered as a class into which the predicted value falls and hence has its name, classification.

In this Workshop, we do a detailed study of the different classification algorithms mentioned below, using sci-kit learn and apply it to the same data set for the sake of comparison.

Naive Bayes
Logistic regression
K-nearest neighbors
SVM (Kernel)
Decision tree
Ensemble learning

We will run a Jupyter notebook in Watson Studio. If you want to try this out for yourself, please go here to sign up for a free account and follow these instructions to get up and running.
