IBM UrbanCode Deploy version 6.2.5 is available now, and there are some new features in it that we hope you’ll find useful:
Environment property comparison
I blogged about this last week (Detailed comparisons of environment properties in IBM UrbanCode Deploy 6.2.5), but this new feature is good enough to mention again. You pick a reference environment and see the differences in the properties of other environments. That can help keep your environments in sync and debug problems that show up in different environments.
Along with the options for cleaning up component versions that we’ve had for a while, you can now set up the server to automatically delete old, unused snapshots. The server never deletes the current snapshot for any environment, and you can set up global cleanup settings and settings for individual environments. See Cleaning up snapshots.
That’s just the top two new features. For the full details, see What’s New in UrbanCode Deploy 220.127.116.11.
