Programming on quantum computers, Part 1: Quantum pong

About this video

The first video in the “Programming on quantum computers” series introduces you to the series and some of the core topics we’ll cover. We also give you your first taste of Qiskit, an open source quantum computing software development framework that enables you to leverage quantum processors. Watch as Abe plays QPong, a quantum ping pong game, by creating a quantum circuit that moves the paddle based on the outcome of the quantum computation from that circuit.

About the series

The “Programming on quantum computers” series introduces you to quantum computers and shows you how to program quantum algorithms on them. Once you understand how to program quantum computers using Qiskit, you can focus on various application areas, including quantum chemistry, the development of quantum algorithms, and even learn how to program games based on quantum computing.
