LoopBack is a framework for developers to create their APIs easily and fast. Its authentication system can quickly secure your API by applying the authentication strategy which resolves the identities of coming requests. The system is highly extensible and is compatible with over 500+ express passport middleware.

In this webcast, Janny Hou will be presenting the architecture of the LoopBack authentication system first. Then, she will demonstrate how to apply a JWT (json web token) authentication component to an application and secure REST APIs with code implementation.
