In the past several months, searches for ‘sentiment analysis’ are averaging upwards of 5,000 per month. Its increased popularity can be attributed to the fact that more developers are discovering the broad capabilities of the API, as well as the unique results obtained from pairing it with other cognitive services, such as Watson’s Personality Insights. From social media monitoring to analyzing the news, some might say sentiment analysis has become a hot commodity. As such, our developer advocate and evangelist, Zach Walchuk decided to make the Sentiment Analysis API the primary focus of our latest Alchemist Hour web session.
On Wednesday, July 22, developers, product managers, executives and hackers alike, joined the online web session for a 35-minute overview of the API, followed by an interactive Q&A. But, Zach had something special up his sleeve for attendees – a peek into Watson’s Personality Insights service. During the webinar, Zach provided basic insight into the service, along with how it pairs with the Sentiment Analysis API, in particular.
