Moni.ai can add tremendous value to a variety of billion-dollar markets where other AIs can’t. Allowing you to make services accessible in natural language Moni.ai enables you to voice control your business.

IBM Watson services enable cognitive computing features using IBM Watson’s Language, Vision, Speech and Data APIs. This is great – but not yet easily accessible without coding your own apps. This changes now as Moni.ai allows you to connect Watson-services to natural language and make them available to everyone.

Cognitive business applications and industrial 4.0 concepts need to set the barriers as low as possible for users. Hence bots are a promising approach, since they are predicted to have the potential to replace websites and mobile apps completely. The growth of natural language interfaces is also pushed by messaging platforms with billions of users proving the popularity of natural language interfaces. Enterprise markets however lack an affordable AI Assistant that could be useful for many complex business applications. While 80% of any analytics initiative is spent on data integration (Forrester) in house developments of an AI are no option for most businesses since integration efforts exceed common R&D resources. An open, adaptable AI with an easily accessible UI would be the solution.

Moni.ai is the missing link as an affordable, easy-to-use and flexible AI-solution. Here is the anatomy of Moni.ai in cognitive computing workflow contexts:

  1. Easy-to-use, accessing and correctly retrieving relevant information from huge amounts of data at high speed
  2. Easy & fast access to real life services & IoT functions through one single application
  3. Doing the legwork for you: UX/UI Integration in relevant channels (Skype, Kik, Web, IFTTT, …)
  4. Strength in qualitatively high natural language processing. Neuro-bio algorithms and pattern recognition instead of “intent” and “entities”

All this is part of Moni.ai and will add tremendous value to your business application leveraging Watson services.

How does it work?

First things first you need to add the Moni.ai service on Bluemix and follow the instructions in order to setup your Node-Red instance. Once you have the Node-Red based Voice Channel designer running, the Moni.ai nodes allow you to build a Voice Channel . This enables you to define the way how users interact with your business. Node-Red thereby provides you with dozens of possibilities to access APIs, define rules – but also: access IBM Watson services.

One of the great advantages of Node-Red is that you don’t need to be experienced in coding – almost everything works visually. This means you can wire together, voice control and thereby automate your business processes.

See the following demo how that looks like in practice.
