Climate Challenge, brought to you by Call for Code
Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts. We’re calling on you to build a proof-of-concept, RAG AI-driven solution using watsonx.ai that can address a pressing climate challenge.

Call for Code®
Started in 2018, Call for Code is the largest tech-for-good initiative of its kind that brings together developers and problem-solvers from around the world to create solutions to help solve some of the most pressing societal issues of our time.

Prizes

First place team, per theme

• $5,000 USD

• $500 USD IBM Cloud credits, per team member

• 1 ticket per team member to the IBM TechXchange 2025 conference in Orlando (Tickets are subject to legal pre-approval, are non-transferable, and travel/lodging is not included)

Additionally, the team that wins first place for the Call for Code theme will be eligible to be judged for the 2025 Call for Code Global Challenge, where the top team will take home $50,000 USD.
