Overview
The four tutorials in this learning path enable you properly maintain the system time and synchronize the clock using the Network Time Protocol (NTP). You’ll learn how to configure the syslog daemon and log rotation, and understand the standard facilities, priorities, and actions involved in system logging. Also, you’ll understand the basics of mail transfer agent (MTA) and the MTA programs such as postfix, sendmail, qmail, and exim. Finally, you’ll learn how to manage print queues and user print jobs, use line printer daemon (LPD) compatibility commands to manage print jobs, and troubleshoot printing problems.
