Overview

The four tutorials in this learning path provide a proper understanding of the TCP/IP network fundamentals and explain the major differences between IPv4 and IPv6. You’ll learn how to manage the persistent network configuration of your Linux host and familiarize yourself to troubleshoot basic network issues in your Linux client system when things go wrong. Finally, you’ll learn how to configure a client-side DNS system that includes tasks such as: querying remote DNS servers, configuring local name resolution and using remote DNS servers, modifying the order in which name resolution is done, debugging errors related to name resolution, and so on.
