Monisankar Das is an Enterprise AI Architect on the IBM Technology and Red Hat Strategic Partnership team within IBM Consulting, where he shapes the technical roadmap for the Enterprise AI pillar. His work has earned the IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement Award in 2021 and the IBM Corporate Technical Award in 2022.

Monisankar specializes in agentic AI architecture — multi-agent orchestration, planning and memory management, and the observability and governance that make an agentic estate safe to run in production. He is a subject matter expert for the IBM Developer Profession, has co-authored the Enterprise AI Reference Architecture as a domain-agnostic blueprint for production-ready AI platforms, and has trained more than 200 practitioners through watsonx Orchestrate L4 programs and global technical webinars. He publishes practical guidance on the agentic AI lifecycle, MCP and A2A protocol implementation, and agent observability.

Earlier in a career spanning more than 22 years in technology, he was a Data Scientist and Solution Architect at IBM Research, where he built a conversation analytics asset deployed to over 15 global clients and contributed to agentic RAG pattern development. He holds a B. Tech in Industrial Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and an MBA in Marketing, and holds the IBM Generative & Agentic AI Expert – Architect and watsonx Orchestrate Practitioner Advanced credentials.
