Overview

The five tutorials in this learning path enable you to understand how to design a disk partitioning layout and to choose, install, and configure a boot manager for a Linux system. You will learn how to manage shared libraries needed by your Linux program and use the Debian package management tools to manage the packages on your Linux system. Finally, the learning path also provides guidance on how to use the RPM and YUM tools to manage the packages on your Linux system.
